Take comfort in knowing that your Ganica web site will be designed by a professional, degreed Web Designer. Your website will be coded using popular html/css tableless design techniques, which eliminate website bulkiness, and allow for faster loading pages and better search engine results.
How long does it take for a design to be completed?
The timescale of a project is generally dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind we will endeavour to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation of a site is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client.
Number of Initial Design Concepts
This is the number of initial designs that you will be presented with and given the chance to choose from. You will be able to give feedback and make changes, but once the design is finalized and coding begins, you will be limited to the number of revisions you can make.
Number of Revisions
This is the number of times that you will be offered the chance to give feedback and make changes to your design. Note that the number represents the number of rounds of edits (it is not a limit as to how many edits can be made per round).
How do I prepare for a project I want developed?
The ideal thing to do is to create a concept on paper or on your computer and have it ready for presenting to the design team. Keep in mind that the developer needs to have a clear pitcture of what you want created.
From time to time, we will find it necessary to purchase royalty-free stock photography on your behalf to complete the look and feel of your design. Your one-time start up fee covers this cost.
Do we need to meet in person?
Ganica has clients hundreds of miles away and some are even in different countries. All we need to make your project a success is information or your concept. We can talk on the phone, send emails, fax or you could even use snail mail. Rest assured your project would receive the same high quality designing that all my other distant clients have enjoyed for years.
What's a content management system (CMS)?
A content management system is software that keeps track of every piece of content on your Web site, much like your local public library keeps track of books and stores them. Content can be simple text, photos, music, video, documents, or just about anything you can think of.
Can I look after my own site once you have designed it?
Yes! we will provide Content Management Training so that you have the knowledge of up-keeping your own new CMS site. If you can use Microsoft Word, then you can edit and change your website content with ease. It's that simple.
